I re-enlisted to to re-class to 25U from 11B. I was able to reclass if I stayed airborne and I told retention the only way I'll stay airborne is if you send me to Carson and of course you know 10th Group is there. They needed 25U's to be airborne so Branch and other personal that's involved with the process said they'll do it and put me on a follow on assignment to 10th Group once I graduate AIT. Idk if I'm asking the right question or if I got the process all wrong, but it's been a little over a month and haven't seen anything on ASK. Should I be worried? Should I contact branch or HRC? Can someone please enlighten me on what to expect or do someone have and idea on what's going on. Thank you very much. God Bless!!!

SPC Joshua Covington I was stationed in Fort Gordon for 4 years or so is 25U 6 months or less i am not sure. I will give you the two scenarios anyway if the school is less than 6 months it will be TDY enroute which means you will proceed to Fort Gordon and to 10th Group it will show it on your orders. If the school is 6 months or more it will be a PCS move you will have orders to Fort Gordon. You will be able to move your family but from any school i have gone to it's not advised but you will still received BAH for Fort Gordon regardless where your family will be and you won't be entitled Family Sep because you chose not to bring family. You should already get an ATTRS reservation which you should receive an e-mail from ATTRS to your Enterprise email. If you have any more questions do not hesitate to ask and good look

I'd go talk to S-1 first. Let them be your advocate in this situation.
