Was in Anchorage during the 1964 Anchorage Earthquake, largest earthquake ever recorded in North America and second in the world.

I think one of the motivators for me to enter Naval aviation was to get to fly with the Hurricane Hunters. Then I figured out how insane that job is. Big respect for those folks, and the Coast Guard.
