Should RallyPoint award Influence Points for participating in RPx 2014??

This is a regional event. If it were an online event, that's one thing, but the cost alone to fly if you aren't in the area already is too much for 90% of the community.

If you're active duty you should lose points for not having a calendar already full of meetings! (that was a joke... but yes, my calendar is already full)

I'm not going to gain any sorts of points on here. I'm going to spend with some of those from the RP community that I have gotten to know. I am thankful and lucky enough to be able to fly down and attend the conference. I'm sort of on the side of COL (Join to see), it might be unfair to award points.
