Which party is going to control the House and hold a majority in the Senate in January 2017? Even if you regard the presidential contest as over - a proposition for which there is powerful evidence, including but not limited to Donald Trump's current campaign message choices - the answers to those questions are, respectively, mildly and very unclear. SP5 Mark Kuzinski Does it matter anymore? Does either party work for the people anymore or for the their donors and money backers, and themselves! Jus me complaining this morning Mark! Disappointed in the way our Government has evolved over time!

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser - This part is the catch I think: "But, the states may not want to help the people erode political party values and corporate powers, so the people will most likely have to get a federal grand jury to say there is reasonable belief the government acted with poor judgment. And, that is what the people have done"

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - I sincerely believe that the two political parties have way more in common than we'd like to believe.

It's all about the big money in the U.S.A. today, and the same people are backing both sides to ensure they get what they want no matter what.

Whichever one wins, we lose. Party is destroying this country. The Ds don't stop and the Rs are to weak to stop them. Compromise for the sake of compromise is weakness. Where has all of this compromise gotten us today?

The US Constitution was written to make it difficult to pass arbitrary laws that violate the Bill of rights and reduce our freedoms and protections. The amendment process is not being used while we watch the judiciary and legislature change the Constitution in ways that are not Constitutional. Unless we the people stop the judicial and legislative tyranny, we lose. It's past time for term limits in both the congress and courts.

SP5 Mark Kuzinski I think there needs to be a House and Senate Cleaning, and all current House and Senate members need to be fired. We need to start fresh and work up to a better representing people.

Term limits would help, no more than 4 terns in the house (8 years total) and 2 terms in the Senate (12 years total). Of course that would require a constitutional amendment and that would require at least 2/3 of both houses to agree which is never gonna happen.

What happened to for the people and by the people. This is the reason there needs to be a drastic change that doesn't involve the house or senate in the matter as they will pick their own interests above the American Peoples' PO2 Robert Aitchison

Capt Tom Brown - That's one of the biggest problems, too many people just vote party line.

It makes it where any candidate can get elected in certain districts as long as the right letter is next to his/her name.

The worst part is how hard it is to make a truly informed defision, like has been already mentioned.

SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser - But the very people they screw put them in office. has to be at the lowest level. Start with the House. Easier to target and get rid of maybe.
