SGT Edwards, I'm in the 173RD currently. Although different BNs will see things like you being Non-Airborne qualified in their own way, you have to consider the mentality of the Airborne Community and take into consideration that whether you're great at your job or not... You won't be like everyone else and that's a big deal in this unit, especially as a leader. Don't get me wrong, being airborne or not doesn't make the man, but it sets you up for success in the environment that has forged it's very foundation on being Airborne and being a Sky Soldier. Here, both are a very big deal! Good luck!

SGT Dominick, first thing I would do is very that they have a slot for you there. Look it up on WEBTAADS. If there is one, then contact the Strength management NCO for the unit, and let them know your are interested. Just a suggestion. Last thing if all is confirmed is contact your branch manager and let him or her know you did the leg work.
