My son is autistic and we have been mulling over the Tricare ECHO program.  I  was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this program.  I am about 99% sure we will sign up but just wanted the low down on it before from a third party other than Tricare.  Thanks.

We use it for ABA therapy. The only thing bad I would have to say about it thus far is the difficulty getting one of our children enrolled.

I thought we were going to need ECHO and signed up, however we never actually used the service so I cannot really comment on it.

We looked into this about 6-7 years ago when it was under a different name, not sure if the standards are still the same or if they have upgraded the assistance. At the time we felt for what was offered, it was missing quite a bit on the reality of the hundreds of variables of the multitude of autism rating and diagnoses. It may have changed over the years, hoping it has improved, but I would be checking the outside referral market as well before settling on the singular Tricare recommends, it may be the best option.

Good luck and no matter what he is your special love that will always be there for you. I know mine is.
