SFC (Join to see) I fail to see the confusion when the reg clearly says that the only 2 fleece caps authorized are green and black, and like you mentioned before, green only until 30 September 2017

Fair enough, but the reg is dated 2015 and accounts for only the two caps when I have several individuals who received the coyote one downrange. The MCSS was clueless and I even gleaned a bit of confusion among my seniors. I do appreciate that what the reg says is (whether it makes sense to me or a matching uniform) is what the reg says.

SFC (Join to see) I understand, but don't forget that downrange and garrison are 2 different animals. Over there you don't(or should not) really have the time to worry about the color of a cap when your life could be on the line at any given moment.

The black fleece as well as the green is the correct worn cap. The brown is an unofficial deployment cap

I was issued a black fleece cap with my black and gold PT uniform and have worn the black fleece cap with my OCP's. I was issued my OCP's in January 2016.
