Yes! Surgery all set for Monday!!! It only took 3 years to get someone to do it. No VA neurosurgeons in the entire state of AZ. No more pain, courtesy of the Mayo hospital in Phoenix. Spread the word to all the vets in AZ. We are back in business!

Hey Mark good luck on Surgery just FYI I work for Mayo in Phoenix and been with them for 10 years and Have not met a bad sugeon yet. I know you will get the best care possible. I work in XRay in Sugery and work with the Drs there. Is Dr Patel doing the Surgery Or Dr Zimmerman?

I'm not down on Tricare (per se) SPC Theresa Martinelli , But in the San Tan Valley,AZ area you get a lot of crazy looks and answers when you mention Tricare in a non-military community. Add to the fact that the VA can't land a neurosurgeon in this great state and it makes for some long nights of pain. I think I am here because my ex knows that I hate the desert so she brought the kids here just to make me goofy.
