The OCP Gore-Tex doesn't have sleeve pockets, so where does the name tape go?

when Gortex is sewn/stitched into and poked with holes as in rank, u've just ruined a $450 jacket

I'ma let you ask your question, but I just want to say that your warm Fleece jacket goes UNDER your OCP jacket because its meant to hold body warmth IAW the ECWCS TM.
For your question, though, some pieces don't have velco probably because or tactical benefits or they're not meant to be worn long-term. Horrible guess, I know. Man, field jackets are the greatest.

Thanks! I know with the UCP Gore-Tex the name tape went on the left sleeve pocket. My OCP doesn't have a pocket. I am assuming since it an outer layer, then it should have a name tape somewhere.

the Traditional Gore-tex jacket in UCP pattern matched its predecessors in DCU and BDU patterns. (name tape on pocket). The Ecws ocp jacket you're referring to (layer 6?, which also doubles as wet weather gear) matches its predecessor in UCP pattern (rank on tab in the front). All outer jackets dont require name tape. The coyote brown fleece is intended to be worn underneath, however it added something the black fleece of the past did not; name tapes and rank and branch, allowing it to be worn as an outer garment.
