After A TCS or Deployment does a soldier have to take leave?

I know this might be a strange question i have a battle that is telling me that once i get back to my unit i will be forced to take leave Per Company.... is there an AR,FM,TC, DoD doctrine stating that a soldier HAS to take leave....

I have never seen an actual regulation that can force somebody to take leave. Normally units have block leave schedules (including after deployments), and they may not approve leave for you outside of this period, but there are always some who choose not to take leave during that time. They should not be forcing you to take leave.

I have this issue currently. There is no regulation stating a commander can or cannot make you take leave. However, you must submit the DA31, if you do not you aren’t on leave.
