Once you are assigned to a recruiting BN, is it possible to switch to another one in the same state?

Technically possible, since you are in the same BDE, and if there was an extraordinary circumstance of why you are requesting it, and that both CSM's and the BDE CSM agree to it.

SSG (Join to see) - If you haven't received actual orders to No Cal Bn yet, you can try contacting BDE S-1 in Las Vegas and ask if any way possible to get it changed to Fresno. Just keep in mind, USAREC does not go out of its way to accommodate requests to be "closer to home" unless there is some type of hardship. In which case, if you had a hardship you probably would not have made it through the screening process to be detailed or a volunteer. It could be worse, you could have been assigned to Minneapolis Bn with duty in Fargo, ND. If I were you, I would be happy with Sacramento.
