What do you think about the theory that Stalin had Patton killed? It would be interesting to see a MAIT reconstruct the accident scene using modern technology.

I remember my Dad telling me when I was growing up that he had it on some sort of authority that Patton was murdered and it was staged to look like a car accident. I believe he figured it to be by one of our guys not Stalin. Though Stalin did have a good reason to want him dead. Patton was pissed as hell that they would not let him run his tanks right to Moscow and beat the Russians before they could make trouble for us. Too dam bad he didn't get the chance. It would have saved us 5o yrs of cold war and the Communists would not have gotten the Bomb so dam fast either.

I wouldn't put such a macabre idea past Stalin. But since Bill O'rielly came out with the idea....meh.
