Anyone heard anything about TA being funded this FY yet?

Juts wondering. Supposed to start my Master's program on the 21st, and when I signed up it says that funds haven't been budgeted for this fiscal year yet and the class would be dropped if it wasn't funded by then.

Saw this on the Army Home Page today...
Army Tuition Assistance (TA) rates and eligibility requirement changes will go into effect soon -- on October 1st, with the changes remaining in effect through September 30, 2015.
The rate/rule changes are as follows:
• The Army will fund 100% tuition for up to 16 hours of credit, not to exceed $250 per credit hour (or a total of up to $4000 per year).
• This is a reduction from the previous allowance of up to 18 hours of credit, or $4500 per year.
• Coverage for certain fees such as laboratory and course fees will no longer be available.
• TA may be used for 130 semester hours for a Bachelor's degree, and for 39 semester hours for a Master's degree.- Service members must reimburse the Army for tuition paid with TA for any courses that are not successfully completed.
New eligibility requirements are as follows:
• Completion of one year of service following graduation from Advanced Individual Training (AIT) is required prior to receiving TA.
• If any portion of a soldier's undergraduate degree was funded with TA, soldiers must have 10 years of service before using TA again to fund a Master's (or higher) degree (beginning January 1, 2015).
• Soldiers must meet Army physical fitness test (APFT) and height/weight requirements and not have a DA adverse action flag.

Roger sir, tracking all. But when I signed up it said that the Army hadn't allocated FY15 funds to TA yet and if they weren't funded by the start of the class, I would be dis enrolled. However, when I called the education center they said that is a "standard" message and that there shouldn't be any problems. I'm slightly skeptical, but I'll just pay out of pocket if need be.

HOOAH ... I can't imagine it won't be funded, at least initially. Even if a Continuing Resolution is in effect, spending is authorized at prior year levels; it just prohibits new programs, unless the bill specifically cuts funds from specific programs.
