I hope I am wrong and it is contained in Dallas...and the cities listed above...and Spain...and all of Western Africa.

Steve, I think your comments were spot on. The one thing that really concerns me about this outbreak...beyond the size and scope...and the fact that this time it is not burning itself out quickly...but how many people who 'know' what they are doing are becoming an infected? All but two of the cases in the US are...well I have not checked the numbers since lunch, so this might not be correct...health care professionals, who are willingly going into hot zones? What is really going on? Why are we not hearing more questions like we see on RP?

I agree Brad. There are questions such as you posed here that are not only being unanswered, but it appears that anyone in an official capacity, A. not asking the questions themselves, and B. why aren't journalists asking them?

I noticed when the news broke about the nurse, the press followed the official response like a pup on a leash. The big story here is not to put a blame on something, that can come later. This nurse contracted it rather quickly, and it seems to me the administration, and its kennel of dogs are trying to downplay this. To a degree, I understand that you don't want to create a panic, however, keeping the public in the dark will only serve to advance the disease.

I can already see signs of panic in certain industries.

The problem about keeping the public, is that in this case, people could die. I hope all my concern is for nothing and nothing comes of this but it does not even seem like the Federal government is learning from its many mistakes?

I am with you in your assessment Brad. I think they are so wrapped up in their own little political agendas and how they can use this situation to their political favor to actually learn or even care.

Kermit, I like the way you think.

PO3 Shaun Taylor I think if had them land and go through a screening process in the Capital building, we might get some quiick action? Might remind those elected what they are supposed to be protecting and it is not their reelection.
