How long does verification take?

I am waiting to become bonafide (verified) and wanted to know how long the procees usually takes?

I have sent 2 requests to verify my account. Both requests had a copy of my state issued Veterans ID card. I have heard nothing in reply that my card wasn't acceptable, and I'm still not verified. I'm very reluctant to send a copy of my DD-214.
