Calling on the phone you might be on hold for fifteen minutes! Secure messaging thru MyHealthevet works well for refills and you can do scheduling and ask questions too.

I mainly use the VA for device related stuff and go in annually. For most things, I use secure messaging. The response through messaging from the VA here has been pretty food.
