Whether you are a hardcore nerd/geek or just downright bored and looking for something to do in your off time/down time.... I KNOW there are alot of people in the military who play magic.

For me, I played a little in High school. At some point during this deployment I realized that one of the stores on KAF sold the cards and BAM...I had a past time that has grown quite a bit in my short time here.

What's your story? How long have you played? Have you won any tournys?

I played back in middle school. Got rid of all my cards. Then in tech school bought maybe $150 worth of cards, relearned how to play, then gave them all to a friend I played with since I was getting retrained. Picked some up 2 years ago, tried to learn how to play again... and now they just side by themselves. Since I don't know anyone that plays and I'm pretty horrible also. I do own a deck online though, but I get massacred on there.

I play off and on vintage MTG. I have three main decks. A blue control deck, a black/red burn/discard deck and a fun snake tribal deck.

It is getting hard to find vintage players for one. I would love just a group of players to get together and trough down. I have been playing since Beta. Wish I would have kept some of those cards I had back then.

I've got a Red/Green and a Black/Blue I've had since high school. Both of which were notorious amongst players. My Red/Green gave me a 15:1 W/L Ratio.

I started playing seriously when a friend gave away some cards and built up from there. Eventually had two nasty decks, but can't use them in tournaments because you can only use cards from recent seasons. It sucks, but it's still fun smoking anyone wanting to play.
