http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/10/17/General-U-S-Troops-That-Contract-Ebola-Will-Be-Quarantine-in-Liberia

I agree with this, but why is it ONLY the Service members will be held to this?

Personally yes, ALL that have been in contact or in country where Ebola is common should be quarantined, not just our military brothers and sisters, EVERYONE!

My personal belief is that, unfortunately, due to the poor medical and general infrastructure in West Africa, Ebola has a higher survivability rate if treated in specialized facilities in the United States.

Seeing that service members in particular are ordered to come here, if they were to contract Ebola the United States OWES it to them to bring them back to the United States and thus provide them with the best possible chance of fighting off the disease.

This doesn't have to be dangerous to the American population at large. There is a specialized air charter already in place to transport Ebola patients to the U.S. that keeps them away from the general traveling public. Upon arrival, they can be safely transported to the special medical facilities (not an unprepared general hospital facility such as the one in Texas).
