If not, is there a way to change a 15T slot for a 68W slot in the system? We are allowed 7 of each which we already have but by regulation, we can have 1.5 per aircraft and since we have 9 aircraft (UH-60A/L) we technically need 10 Flight medics(68W). Any help is greatly appreciated.

You could create a 125% OSP for it, but not change a hard MTOE position from one MOS to another.

1SG Ian Short, thank you for your response. How would we be able to create a 125% OSP?

Of course, always glad to help.
I'd have a justification/explanation in mind, and meet with the BN S-1, they've always managed creating or deleating 125% positions for me; I recall in my last unit being in a similar situation and arguing to create 125s for added depth.

SGT (Join to see) Some may say there is a way to make changes in the system. I would tell you that you should not make any changes to the system. Your S1 can manage the system properly to load the MOSs for mission requirements.

The only way that I know how to make it possible to write in a memorandum asking to add an additional 68W to your MTOE. AR 600-106 (will also tell you where to send it), will have some guidance on how to do it. Basically your asking DA to give you that one special slot, for funding and staffing. Only draw back is that that slot will only be for that one person. so if they PCS or EST you will have to do that same paperwork for the next person. Only have seen this done when adding a Avionics Person to a C2 mission set like Korea, or prior to the Battalion SI being actually slotted.
