I have spent the past week gathering resources from EOLs and EOA that I know. I wanted to find a little more updated information, so I did a little searching. I looked on AKO’s EO page which hadn't been updated since 2013, then I looked at Army G1's EO page which hadn't been updated since 2015, then I looked at other installations around the army and many of them weren't updated either. The only real sites that I found were civilian ones or posters, observance information, and some guidance from DEOMI. I am always seeing training, presentations, and festivals celebrating the multitude of cultures and ethnicities which make up the army but it seems that none of it is making it way online. Is there some kind of information repository that should be created or does one already exist?

Have you tried going directly to your unit EOA? If they don't have it available, call your garrison EOA to get the most up-to-date information.

I had this problem when I was an EOA. DEOMI is always on top of the latest information and a good resource to use. G1 doesn’t have EO as a priority, SHARP program is the focus point of when I left EO 2 years ago.

Perhaps looking in the wrong places? Would need more information on where you have tried obtaining the info.

SFC Miller, I have all the new stuff. Just was wondering why it was so hard to find it. Army G1 hasn't even updated their site sine 2015. And there have been at least three major regulation/policy changes in the past year. That's crazy when the headquarters doesn't update their stuff. DEOMI does keep a pretty good historical database but I believe there should be a combined SharePoint or archive that has everything. Like a CALL or JLL but for EO/SHARP.

Sadly you may have to go looking for the policy letters for transgender and other updates that have happened since 2014. Hopefully someone has them semi-accessable in their office. Maybe you get to be the one that makes the updated slides that everyone else will use for the next 2 years.

SFC (Join to see) have you used milSuite as a resource. It can be helpful to get current information. I can offer several scenarios/reasons for the websites. 1. To update a website/page you have to have ownership/permission. Maybe the individual who had that level of access let the organization and current members don't have access. 2. The services were contracted out, the contract was not renewed or awarded to another company in a re-compete, now no one has access. 3. The Army is using SharePoint more and has stop updating their public sites and sites that do not require permission, CAC certificate, or some type of authorized secure logon. 4. Leadership - it is not a priority.
