I'm currently assigned to the 218th MEB in South Carolina as the Vulnerability Assessment Officer in the S2 area.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a manual or place I could find the Duty Descriptions and Responsibilities for all the members of the S2 section. Our MTOE has the following positions:
S-2
Vulnerability Assessment Officer
Intelligence Officer
Criminal Intelligence / Operations Officer
Chief Intelligence Sergeant
Vulnerability Assessment NCO
Intelligence Sergeant
Intelligence Analyst

The only resource I can find on MEB is FM 3-90.31. But it doesn't list Duty Descriptions.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Have you checke the 218th's SOP, written by a MAJ Barrett for duty descriptions?
In addition, i would strongly recommend that you contact someone at the 4th MEB
leonardwood, KS for assistance. The MEB is a unique organization, set up to be a land owner on the battle field.

Without having an actual manual on hand to tell you, I do have some suggestions:

- I did a quick Google search and found some of the duty descriptions you would need.  They can easily be tailored to your unit.

- I would try IKN (Intel Knowledge Online) or contacting someone at Huachuca if you have any contacts there, as a couple of your positions seem relatively unique (i.e. Criminal Intelligence/Ops officer and Vulnerability Assessment NCO).

- As a last resort I'd ask my above HQs.  Their NCOIC should have a good list.

Sorry I'm not more help, I'm sure if I dug through a couple old computers I could find something, but this was just a quick couple thoughts before a squared away NCO would help you out!

Searching Google was how I found the FM 3-90.31. I haven't been able to find anything else.
