Is it possible to get a medical reassignment in the National Guard while going through a medical board?

Im currently pending a medboard. My drill unit is 2 hours away, is there a way to get reassigned while going through the medboard to try to get closer to home.

For National Guard-
You do not physically attend any Board proceedings. You teleconference.
One either WTUs, or stays on drilling status and gets put on 12301H orders to attend the Medical Physical Appointments (that the MEB uses along with your records... to evaluate your conditions for retention fitness) that could be a day- 2 weeks of appointments.
Ask your Commander about theIr SUTA policy.
