Will Congress ever pass a budget or we will continue to operate under a CRA?

It would be nice if some people over the age of 12 could learn to balance a GD checkbook like I did when I was 12, so people could quit worrying about being paid. These shennanigans have cost my wife and I probably about $75,000 from her pay over the last few years when they shut down, start up, and half ass pay (the reserve/guard has awesome ways of being cheapskates in times of budget issues, like putting someone on active orders for only Mon-Fri instead of 24/7 when they are supposed to be full time, to avoid paying full BAH and COLA, etc).
Not to mention the storm it causes on the global scene. If I was going to attack a country, I'd certainly attack a broke one that kept cutting back the military.

SFC Matthew Jones - I fully understand what you are saying as I am in the National Guard also. Our elected officials should not be reelected if they cannot pass a budget within a certain time !!! I know when I was deployed they told us to go into battle but you may not get paid. I wonder how that affected other Soldiers that was worried about home and if it cost a Soldier life.
