I am set to lose my healthcare under my parents pretty soon cause of my age limit of 25. I was told to apply for Tricare however when I tried they denied me cause I never have been activated. Is their a Tricare option for those of us who have never been activated?

Reserve and Guard can get Tricare Reserve Select in a Non Mobilized status. You pay for it but it is really cost effective. If you mobilize you will be auto disenrolled and pick up Tricare Prime AD.

you receive Tricare coverage anytime youre on active duty for more than 30 days or more, you can also get Tricare Reserve Select as a Part time soldier but you pay out of pocket for it and its pretty good coverage for not a lot of money.
