Yes and no. It will reset your time on station on your ERB but it won't fool your branch manager.

Yes, I initially spent 6 years in the 82nd. I then transferred to SWC to attend the Q-course. After a year, I transferred to 3rd GRP. After 6 years, I transferred back to SWC to be an instructor. After 3 years I transferred back to 3rd GRP. After 3 years, I transferred to SF Command. Its been 20 years, and I'm still stationed at Fort Bragg. Maybe its different having that I have a MOS that is limited to where I may go. May not?

Yeah I was in SWC for a year and my retention NCO is saying that none of that time will count towards my time on station for eligibility to reclass. I was just trying to get some clarification, thank you!
