Can you do a Call to Duty packet if you get a Minutemen scholarship with the National Guard?

Just saw this post but I’m just curious for future reference as I’m about to start college in August. But will have to commission as Guard.

I haven't known anyone to try this. But if you do CAD you have to obtain an Conditional Release. That might be an issue. But honestly the CAD program is only to address shortages. The army just grew recently. I don't believe the CAD program will be around for long. If the Army can meet it's goals then CAD will shut down. I would try to just get a regular ROTC scholarship if you want to go active duty.

Probably, a conditional release is a conditional release, but it’s probably best to run it by your State and R&R to see if they have specific experience with it.
