Is Nano-Technology Good For the Future of the Military?

It was Richard Feynman who was one of the first to suggest Nano- as the way to go. Michio Kaku has likewise talked about this technology with some of the potential benefits being healing the injured and treating diseases.
The robots of science fiction are not that close to Nanobots whose applications are evolving every day. The reason is their size and the capability of seeing what we could not before.
So, what's next? Is this going to make pilots obsolete? Is there a place for humans or maybe we will be replaced the WOPR? Seriously, computers are expected to start doubling in speed every 18 months. What do you think?

And what to expect?? Quantum computers. Drug delivery systems at the nano level, including nanorobots to target diseased areas. Nano surgery machines.

And one day people will shudder at what we do today. Reminds of that one episode of Star Trek where the Dr treated someone with surgery. lol

SSgt (Join to see) Seriously, I was literally thinking about that same thing when I posted this and thinking about this thread!! Star Trek IV - Bones said something about "this is like medievalism!" when the docs were talking about trans cranial to relieve pressure.
