What kind of radio were you issued downrange, and was everybody issued one?

A TA-312 in the infantry, referred as a (Klaker), you were sent downrange 100meters or more for OP, also if you were the FO, bring more wire.

By the way, the good thing about the TA-312 Klaker, it came with another guy that carried your wire. And the wire was good to string up a trip wire with empty C-RAT cans with rocks in it.
That was your early warning device to let off your claymores, and what ever you do, don't let the FNG setup the claymore, they always seem to point the damm thing in your OP direction.

Yes thats it, keep it downrange, by the way, don't cut down the trees at Bragg, they didn't like that, so I did the next best thing, shot the tree with a LAW. And they still yelled at me. Lol
