Finally, justice for officer Darren Wilson! The grand jury returned ''no true bill'' meaning no indictment! There will never be true justice for this officer, as I'm sure his career is over. I may be wrong, but realistically, how can this man continue to work in law enforcement anywhere near this community? At least he and his family won't face the financial and emotional turmoil of a legal battle to stay out of prison for doing his job. I ask that all active duty, and vets join me in praying for officer Wilson and his family.

Well I live about 20 minutes from Ferguson and I have heard numerous sirens flying down
I-70 towards Ferguson. Looting and burning has begun, decades old businesses burnt to the ground. I-44 in South STL closed down in both directions by protestors near were other young male (this one armed) was shot by police. The prosecutor did an excellent job at the press conference explaining the evidence and facts of the case and the outcome. I feel sorry for all of the decent hardworking people of Ferguson and the business owners. to commute right through there on my way to work. Please pray for all of St. Louis.

SMSgt Thomas, I live about 65 miles east of Stl. I'm a lifelong resident of this area, so I feel a strong kinship with the people of Stl. This is, as expected, a highly emotionally charged event. It has so far turned out as I expected it to, but it saddens me greatly to see these events unfold. I stand by my earlier statement that I feel justice for officer Wilson was done. That being said, I grieve for all the law abiding people of Ferguson and business owners as well as their employees who have nothing to do with this. I too am praying for them and will until this incident is resolved.

We have a MOANG humvee right outside our science/research building (kind of makes me wonder)with two MPs inside. Anyway I went up and thanked the two soldiers. Called their command center in in Jefferson City and asked if I could get pizzas delivered to them. The NCOIC said they would like that better than MREs for lunch. So the two got a 16" pepperoni and garlic cheese knots delivered to them. Of course I am not sure I would want to be in that Humvee around 1330.

It is only partially over for Officer Wilson. He will probably be subpoenaed into a federal court for Civil Rights Violations and after that the family will probably find some attorney to sue him civilly for wrongful death. Though I feel for the family of Brown I feel more for the Officer who's best split second decision will be persecuted, or prosecuted (depending on your point of view) for a long time. That said being a police officer in this day and age is getting worse and worse.
