Would getting into a 15 series MOS help become an Army pilot? If so, what specific MOS?

I was wanting to be a helicopter pilot and my asvab score was above what is required for it but I was told that it is Better to enlist first as something like a 15p and then go for a pilot slot so would getting into a 15 series mos help and if it does what specific mos or would it be better to try now?

IDK about this MOS, but my suggestion is that if you are qualified for this, go for it. IMO you should be able to learn more about related mos with no problem during your career. Plus if you want to get out after your first contract you already have experience as a helicopter pilot.
