I want to go back in. I am getting 10% disability, but I'll gladly give it up. I went to a recruiting station and they said they can't take me because I was discharged with a misconduct. I have a general under honorable. What can I do to get back?

I would talk to more than one recruiter and note any inconsistencies. Then speak with one of their career counselors or the highest ranking at the recruiting station.

Depends on your Re Code, for instance if you were separated for misconduct your DD-214 will have a code on it, most likely Re4
