How do I request to have my body fat measured by pinch test?

And I will point out that I have never seen anyone that didn't tape that could pass a pinch test. While I would probably dispute the supposed accuracy of the tape test, it's easier to pass than most of the others.

One of the other programs in our building has a DEXA scan, which is supposed to be the new gold standard for body comp. I'm a reasonably fit guy but that thing is pretty unforgiving. I had 5-10% more body fat on that thing than I have on any other body comp test I've ever taken.

CPT (Join to see) - I remember back in 1987-88? at Aberdeen Proving Ground,they were testing the body fat scanners myself and another soldier had it done and my body content came back at about 50%,i was a lean 175lbs,the company i was in did body fat comps on everyone irregardless if you passed height and weight,my body fat done by my company had me at 12%,so i agree that the scanners may not be all that accurate,one day hopefully they will find something more accurate.

You can just do it yourself, in order to request a pinch test for the military height and weight record test, you need a certificate from a doctor stating why you are medically ineligible for the standard tape test. (Good luck with that) I've only seen it once and she had a very interesting body shape while being very, very skinny.
