I recently separated from the Navy after doing five years. I have an RE-1 re-entry code. Would it be possible to still join the Marines?

You'll get good advice here, but none so good as picking up a phone and calling a current recruiter.

PO3 James Vise Below is some information that will help. I would have all of your paperwork together and talk to a Marine Corps Recruiter. Have all of your questions written down so that you are prepared. Please provide us an update on what you learn from the Marine Corps Recruiter.

Last I checked they were if you qualify. Of course unless you're a superstar it's more than likely E-3 and back to basic training. But I feel like you should contact the local office directly.
