I'm a split op reservist (haven't gone to AIT yet) in the USAR and I'm getting kicked out for failing 2 record PT test. Now I'm not making any excuses and I know that it's 100% on me that I failed and it's no one else fault but my own but would anyone know what type of discharge I'll receive? I'm only 19 and I don't want this ruining the rest of my life.

I was released from the Utah National Guard almost 4 years ago with an General honorable discharge. So I got out and went into the IRR for 3 years. During that time I let myself go I didn't care about my body or my weight or even my physical capabilities. That was until I hit 275 LBS. I said that was enough and lost the weight. I felt like my time in the military wasn't enough so I reenlisted into the Reserves last year. First PT test I barely passed (but PASSED). Im 30 years old now and have less then 6 months left on my Initial contract and have a packet in to go active duty. Almost a year later and I have lost 45 LBS.
2 of my biggest regrets in life was not joining the military right out of high school and not trying as hard as I have now to be physically/ mentally fit.
If its not to late work your ass harder then you've ever worked it before. Don't go my route you'll regret it for the rest of your life in my opinion.
Good Luck

Honestly I'm still trying to get better I'm by no means an expert. But with the weight I have lost from intermittent fasting then I have lost 50 lbs. And was able to pass PT test. Alot of hard work.

I don't think you get a dishonorable for failing two record APFTs if that's what your asking. It should not "ruin your life" to get discharged for failing two record APFTs.
"If in the Army AR 635-200, Chapter 13 Unsatisfactory Performance would be the authority to seprate. However, level of discharge would differ with situations. Entry Level Discharge or General would be the "norm" for a Entry level Soldier. But Honorable would occur if you fail after you pass your entry level status."

Look up the reg and read through to understand.

Being a Reservist the regulation for him would be AR 135-178 which covers the National Guard and Reserves.

Ive been in for a round 3 years I'm a spc. What kind of discharge would I get I've failed 2 record test. They have not said anything to me about it and I was wondering what they could give me. If it was gonna be Honorable. I've never been in trouble all I have is 2 counseling for non-shaving. Need to know ! All I have is 18 months left on my contract

It depends on the commander’s recommendation and the final approving authorities decision. In the ARNG it’s usually a general under honorable conditions.

You'd be right Sir, with some wiggle for Honorable on some SM's. Being that he's still IET though, I believe he falls under Uncharacterized.
