BAH for dual mil?
My husband and I are both active army. We have been given the run around for BAH rates for the both of us. When I looked up the reg, if I'm reading it right, a dual mil couple stationed together with no kids is entitled to one with dependent rate, while the other service member gets the without dependent rate. Can anyone attest to that?
Also, if one service member deploys or goes on rotation, do they lose their respective BAH?
Ever since I got to my first duty station with my husband, we BOTH have had major pay issues. I would appreciate any and all info, please. I want to be sure we will be getting all that we are entitled to, and not getting what we aren't.

You should both receive the single rate if there are no children. If you have children, the highest ranking will receive the w/Dep rate, while the other receives single rate.

I was married to another service member, and we both received without dependents. Until we had kids. The one got with.

Unless they change things you are right about dual BAH.

My husband has not gotten BAH since I've gotten stationed here with him; this was while we had on post housing as well, so they were taking out of his base pay leaving only $300 each paycheck. And we both only got roughly $300 for bah this last check. We are slowly sorting through everything. My end is covered, but his s1 and company are severely behind (on knowledge, motivation, etc) when I compare them to my s1. So we now live off base, paying rent withour base pay until things get figured out.
