There are 9 million veterans over the age of 65. Is there any advocacy group that helps train these warriors on IT-related skills to help them research veteran resources on their own?

I volunteer computer training and assistance with OS related issues to older vets that ask for help.

I'm not aware of any specific veteran organization that helps older veterans with computer related issues. However, our local AARP chapter and some of our libraries have offered various computer classes for older persons who don't have the skills. I've sent some of my older veteran clients to sign up for the classes. I know it's pretty daunting trying to learn computer skills and then navigate the VA or the DFAS website. Even I get lost at times on those sites. You may want to check out those resources in your area.
I still can't get my husband to even figure out how to turn on the computer. Or send a text message from his flip phone. Lol!! As he says, he didn't need it for 60+ years of his life and he refuses to learn it now. So if you can find me someone to change his mind on that, please let me know.

this is a good question, and one I'm sure was not considered when government agencies decided to put everything online - I know I have some trouble regarding the myriad of web pages links and shit on the VA website and USA jobs
