Yes, MSgt Neil Greenfield. Both my wife and I volunteered while living in the Washington DC area. We haven't participated since moving to NC in 2016.

As part of the Patriot Guard, American Legion and American Legion Riders, I attend almost all the send off or returns in my city.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

How I would greatly enjoy volunteering at this or any other veteran organization out there. But having to do my wife's dialysis at home 5 days a week and then go to work afterwards hardly leaves me anytime for anything else. Hoping once we get the transplant done maybe we can have some sort of *normal* life once again and we can spend more time doing the things we did before.
