How would the different branches handle two pharmacists wanting to join and be stationed together?

My step Daughter and her husband are both pharmacists, They are looking to join even though they are not sure what branch they would like to join. The most important thing to them is to see if they both join of getting station together or just one join and the other get a job as a civilian. It has been 17 years since I was in the Navy and I know my info is sorely out of date. Can anyone help me with how the different branches would handle that today?

I’ve seen it work out for a few years but over a 20 plus year career it’s difficult to stay together. Usually one gets out since it’s relatively easy to find work as a civilian.

Have them also look at the PhD programs at USUHS, they can apply as civil SVC if they'd want to try for a PhD, apart from pharmacy, I'm assuming their likely both Pharm.D.,, since pharm went doctoral pevelm nationally, pretty much awhipe ago, there are a few pharma still grandfathered under bachelor's and/or !asters level, however, I've read a good deal on scope of practice in allied healthz and had seen pharm had gone in tat direction, they might find the PhD program in boomed sciences of interest, honest....

Have them look at the USPHS Commissioned Corps pharmacist pages, and have them call the tool free phone to ask, many overlook USPHS, had I known it existed, I'd have gone that route instead of the way I did, honest...also, they assign to the regular svcs for engineers and psych clinicians, as well as numerous other Federal bodies, they might find that a useful alternative honest....

I'd be most eager to know what they'd find out, if you ever have time to send more, glad was of possible interest and/or usez believe me, of have gone that way to neginmwith, had I known of it, honest....
