How hard would it be to reclassify from 12B to 31B?

Currently a 12B and was intrested in reclassing to 31B when my window opens up in July , how hard would it be to get a reclass ?

A reclassified similar to enlistment in that there has to be a position/shortage, and you must otherwise qualify. The additional requirement is (usually) that your current MOS cannot be under strength at your grade. Good luck. Thank you for your service.

As of today, 31B (E4 and below) is an over strength MOS, which means that you cannot request it. Perhaps, in July things could chance. Visit your battalion Carrer Counselor for more guidance and other opportunities.
