I have the GRFD scholarship but I have heard it is possible and other cadets have got it revoked before commissioning and were able to compete to go active Duty while finishing their bachelors degree.

Hello Cadet,
I had a couple guys in my OCS class who were not completed with their degree. You need 90 credits to go to OCS same as NG. Make sure you have a GT above 110 and a strong PT test. Remember you are competing against many people that want the same thing as you. As for hard, OCS was not hard at all. The OC's at times made it difficult, but that is another story. Hope this helps a bit.

My XO when I was a Company Commander in the 101st was a NMMI early commissioning grad who went active duty after college. So it happens.

I was a traditional ROTC cadet with a GRFD scholarship who went regular Army after commissioning.

The biggest factors are Luck and Timing followed by your ability.
