I recently went to meps for my physical exam . everything went smooth , yet I needed to get a waiver for my vision since I wear glasses , so I wasn’t able to swear in that day . the next day I Went to get my waiver , sent up to meps that very same day & now it has been a month since over heard anything . I do weekly check ups with my recruiter & he hasn’t heard anything .. can someone please tell me how long it will take or is this normal ?

I'm just wondering where you are at now? Did the waiver go through? I'm going through the same situation right now.

I'm omw in and my vision hasn't been an issue. I wear glasses but but recruiter hasn't said anything about needing a waiver for it. I haven't been to MEPS yet but this concerns me. Does every recruit with glasses need a waiver or is there other circumstances besides just glasses that cause it?

if you wear glasses you need a copy of your eye exam . just so they can know that your vision is intact & approved by your doctor . Just a regular eye exam copy & you should be good . I needed a waiver because my vision was a little above what the requirements were for MEPS .
