Would I be aloud to wear them for the 4th of July parade? Or is that a nogo?

I know you are proud of your uniform, as you should be. Outside of a formal Army event that you are participating in that has been sanctioned by your command, keep the uniform wearing to a minimum. It draws unnecessary attention. These are some specific instances of where it is expressly prohibited:

k. Wearing Army uniforms is prohibited in the following situations:
(1) In connection with the furtherance of any political or commercial interests, or when engaged in off duty civilian employment.
(2) When participating in public speeches, interviews, picket lines, marches, rallies, or public demonstrations, except as authorized by the first O–5 in the chain of command.
(3) When attending any meeting or event that is a function of, or is sponsored by, an extremist organization.
(4) When wearing the uniform would bring discredit upon the Army, as determined by the commander.
(5) When specifically prohibited by Army regulations.

It doesn't really apply to your situation, but I still wouldn't do it.

PV2 (Join to see) - no problem. I try to avoid the extra attention that goes with first class upgrades, calling out at events, etc. Stay humble, stay low on the radar, just my .02. Even at the airport when in civilian clothes if they say "those with active duty ID are welcome to board" my wife and I just wait for our group. I don't like to put myself over civilians just because I have a uniform.

Quiet professionalism. It's the way to go. Pride is encouraged, recognition is unnecessary

Do not wear your OCP... If you wanted to wear a uniform have it be your ASU's, depending on the weather class B's. I have worn work uniform in parade before but that was a parade my whole unit was involved in so it was command directed. But your work uniform OCPS are not for formal events. If you feel the need you are authorized to wear your dress uniform (ASU's) to an event like a parade. Just remember you will stick out and its not always fun to stick out reason why I hate wearing uniform when I'm not on duty.

Check the Army Regs/guidelines and make sure. It saves a lot of time.. and you will know for sure.. if you still have questions, ask!
That’s what all them people that wear the stripes should know..
