Loved living on post at Riley. House was super nice. Lived off post shortly in manhattan, hated the drive to work an back.

I think it is always better to live off post, better quality of life at the end of the day.

There are 2 ways to look at it. Closer to and "not on base housing". I lived in Manhattan and on base. The best answer in just my opinion is on base. You are closer to work, when it snows and it does you don't have to drive in it back home, assuming you live in Manhattan bnot junction City or Ogden. That road gets bad. Other then the drive. I enjoyed living in Manhattan alot.
