I'm in a long AIT where privileges are a bit more relaxed. I was wondering if there was any likelihood I was permitted to take a Saturday Sunday leave for my older sisters wedding that's coming up and be back for duty the next week. Only thing my company has on weekends is a curfew formation so that's the only thing I would miss. Would my plt sgt be able to make this happen with my Company and or Battalion Commanders?

You have to talk to your leadership about that. I'm sure there is also a SOP about leave and passes for your AIT.

You're asking the wrong people. Ask your PSG. Most of the time if the Army can help a soldier get to a family event like that, they will. But it's not guaranteed.

Go to your Sqd.Ldr tell her/him about your situation because they will know the correct path using the Chain-of-Command.
