Any insight or any info on joining Rangers after going through PSYOPS? I really want to do both and want to see how to make that happen.

You probably won't want to after finishing the Psyops Q Course. You absolutely do not need an Option 40 contract, just volunteer to attempt the Selection.

PSYOP only has 4-5 positions in the Rangers, and they are for VERY experienced, senior NCOs. You can of course to go Ranger school (different from being a Ranger) and if you go to 9th BN PSYOP you will work a lot with the Rangers. But remember, active PSYOP is a Special Operation Force in itself, it has tons of the same benefits and tactical fun of the Rangers.
Just get the 37X contract and you will get Selection guaranteed, pass Selection and you are guaranteed Airborne with follow on assignment to a PSYOP Group at Bragg doing Special Operations worldwide.

Eric Allen selection is left vague for a reason. Expect to be tested physically and mentally, pushed to limits.
I have a whole write up on Rallypoint for preparing for SF, PO, and CA selections but it doesnt give away what the courses actually entail. Most of the course is covered by a non-disclosure agreement as well.

For your decision look to the actual job you are trying out for. How would you prefer to influence a population to change? Mil to mil training or information operations. Whichever speaks more to you is your choice.

CW2 (Join to see) - I'm more leaning toward the information operations what I'm worried about is in all honestly a lot of what you read on forums is PSYOP just sends out flyers and puts up speakers and I don't know if thats what I want. I want to make a difference and be a part of a team that is doing that. I also want to be in the elite of groups.

Eric Allen leaflet drops are a thing of the past...its just littering. Speakers not so much either. Regional psyop is in cyber, movie production, radio, TV, social media. It's the entire information domain - meaning any possible way of transmitting information between people is able to be utilized.
Def part of the elite. CA, Psyop, and SF are equivalent, Tier 3 units.
