Given that I have less than year left on my Reserve contract, what were some options I could take?

Hey good morning everyone. I wrote on here before about going back active duty army while in the reserve and was given good feedback on what to do. I had submitted the whole packet but at the same time my lease was coming to an end and I decided not re-sign and move back to my home state.

Fast forward to now and I’ve been in California since, all while looking for a reserve unit with no luck. My old commander said he won’t process my active duty packet for having moved without his notice, I let my chain of command know about the move months prior and heard nothing from them.

I have less than year left on my reserve contract and was wondering what were some options I could take. I still want to go back active but how should I go about this with less than a year in my reserve contract? Sorry for the long post and I greatly appreciate the responses.
