I am about go back to Benning for another school. I am pretty much done with my Ranger School Packing list. I just about dropped 400 dollars so far I think. I have been a while and can't help but to think I do this for most schools. I spoke to a friend of mine that is in Ranger school right now and has spent over 1k. I am not sure how he did that but buying good pair of winter boots and having 6 sets of ACUs will start you in the hole a bit.
What was the most you have spent on a packing list and for what reason? I also dropped a bit before I deployed each time. It can be for pretty much anything.

That's why I go to every reclamation sale and pick up extra sets of ACU's and stuff for pennies.

I go to Old Sarges and buy the used ACU. Most are like brand new. It is way cheaper and they make a great field set.
