Does the Army move your family out to AIT if it’s a certain length of time?

I’m looking to join a support intel position, and the training sets at over 20 weeks. I’m just wondering, since it is a long period of time, does the Army move family to the location?

They do but not for 20 weeks. Also, it would be very challenging for your family to move that many times that quickly. Why would you want the stress.

180 days is the typical cutoff for whether or not a full PCS is authorized according to MPD. I have known some MPD facilities to PCS Soldiers to school with less time allotted; however, these Soldiers the exception, not the rule.
