Yankees Foundation will pay for education for the two children of slain officer.

It is great to see that some people are taking care of the families of the fallen and there are no politics involved. I may not be a Yankees fan but they made me proud.

That's great news, LTC (Join to see). It's probably not a lot of comfort to the grieving families right now, but it will certainly be a great help down the line.
Plus, it's "my" beloved NY Yankees showing some class. Very nice.

One less worry they have. When funding suddenly gets cut off it will help with the child in college immediately. I pray for the families. Loss is always hard, but having it close to or on a holiday make it even harder.
