I was discharged on May 21st, 2018. I had knee displacement issues that was causing pain and arthritis in my knee due to overtraining to prepare for RASP following my AIT. The accumulated over-training and stress of jumping caused me to be unable to walk without pain. I was not granted MEB and I received and Honorable discharge. On my DD-214 the doctor stated that I would heal, but that any re-entry to the military could result in greater injury. I joined because i was homeless, and i'm still experiencing that. I NEED to get back into the army, especially now that i know what resulted in my injury, and how to avoid it. What are the chances of getting the waver, and how fast can I get it?

PVT Coleton Reser - Contact a local Veterans Service Organization about transportation assistance to VA appointments. Some organizations provide a van service. Ask the VA about a disability claim for your service-connected injury. You may be eligible for compensation. You will have to undergo an examination by VA physicians to determine the extent of the injury.

Go to the VA Hospital seek support, they have a couple of programs you should qualify for that would train you while paying a decent stipend. In the end they also assist with job placement. God Speed.
